Healing is most powerful when we care for the whole person—not just a diagnosis. That belief has shaped every step of my journey as a physician.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Rochester before earning my medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado. After medical school, I began Family Medicine residency with the intention of building a career in primary care.

However, that experience became a turning point. I saw firsthand the challenges of practicing in a system that often prioritized brief visits and symptom management over deeper, individualized care. Despite the dedication of the physicians around me, I increasingly felt that I wasn’t practicing the kind of medicine that had inspired me to become a doctor. It was during this time that I realized my calling lay elsewhere. I chose to leave residency and dedicate my career to a more holistic, patient-centered model of medicine.

The greatest lesson I learned was that before I could truly guide others through healing, I first had to be willing to heal myself. That search for a different approach eventually led me to explore psilocybin in my own life. Those experiences profoundly changed how I understood myself and my role as a physician. They challenged long-held beliefs, brought me face to face with my inner self, and ultimately reshaped my understanding of what healing could look like. While the journey wasn’t always easy, it gave me clarity about the kind of physician—and person—I wanted to become.

Over the past several years, I have focused on plant-based medicine, helping patients incorporate medical cannabis into their treatment plans with the goal of improving quality of life while, when appropriate, reducing reliance on pharmaceutical medications. When Colorado created a legal pathway for psilocybin services, I knew this was the next chapter in my professional journey.

Today, I offer psychedelic-assisted therapy with an emphasis on safety, evidence-based practice, compassionate presence, and thoughtful integration. I believe that healing begins when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Every person I work with is treated as a whole human being—not simply a diagnosis—and it is my privilege and honor to walk alongside them as they reconnect with themselves and move toward lasting growth and healing.
